jelazar 0 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 In Classic editor I can update a list of items with checkboxes by placing the cursor at the end of the last item, then typing another item and hitting enter. When I add a new item to a list in the "improved" editor, it indents the entire list, draws lines through any completed item, and grays out the text. This lights the Checklist button. Is there a way to turn this "feature" off?
Cityofcharms 0 Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 I am having the same problem. The whole paragraph automatically indents as soon as I get to the second line. Putting a space in before that initial paragraph tab stops it, but seriously? Space-tab every time because of bad programming?
Graychild 6 Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 any movement on this? this is so aggravating
szeminator 0 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 At https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001758468-Use-auto-formatting it is mentioned that you cannot turn auto-formatting off. Is there a way to preserve the markup syntax or to export the note with it? It is essential for me to have the markup syntax in the evernote note (thats why i turned auto-formatting off at the old evernot version) Note: Auto-formatting cannot be disabled in the new Evernote for Mac.
