When is spellcheck coming back? (new version)

MacOS Big Sur. I can't for the life of me understand how this can be screwed up.

Spellcheck works for the first word, then disappears. So it's there. Misspelled words are still underlined. Just no spelling corrections are suggested after the first time.

I've ignored all the negative feedback on this new version and, like a trooper, had faith and pushed on. But this simple functionality which is pervasive across the OS - even in a simple TEXT DOCUMENT - is not in Evernote and I am just floored.

Whoever is running this show is unqualified.

I'm using MacOS Big Sur and Evernote for Mac v10.3.7  - I have red lines under misspelled words, but there is no option to correct them when right clicking word.
