Creating new notebook used to be so simple - what happened???

Where did all the right-click functionality on stacks and notebooks go??? why can't I create a new notebook in a stack from the left menu pane anymore? Now I have to click on "Notebooks" then "create notebook" then move it to the stack....it used to be so simple, why change such a basic feature????

Boy, am I ever sorry I upgraded my Evernote :(

Is there a way to revert back to the previous Windows version?

Why did you upgrade - Was there something that appealed to you?
Personally, I consider the Version 10 product a work-in-progress
I won't be looking at it until the work is completed

Is that a frequent activity?
I basically roll with a single notebook, and rarely edit notebooks/stacks

I'm a tagger - similar edit page as notebooks
Again I rarely edit tags

Thanks for sharing the link for legacy product installation. I'll wait for a few more suggestions and perhaps a response from the Evernote Team before I revert back.

I'll be going back to legacy as well. v10 is unusable as is. It's a shame as it was always so intuitive.

Hi guys - I second the idea for a new notebook. I have multiple notebooks going, and would like a "1 Click" button to add a new notebook in all the versions of Evernote - iOS, Desktop and online. Would be a really great help.

Open notebook view, click on the „new notebook“ icon top right, enter name, confirm, done.

Then you probably create way too many notebooks ! New notebook is a pretty rare operation, if you use EN to its full potential. Because then you would use few notebooks, and a lot of tags to organize your information.

My notebook structure is nearly static, new notebooks are mainly added as a (temporary) way to share some notes with other people. New tags are another story, this happens quite often. But it is much easier to weed out tags once in a while than to reorganize notebooks.
