Hi.  So for the moment run the Legacy version to keep your local database and enable exports,  and look out for other services that might be able to do a cloud backup rather than download notebooks in the future?

But I have 70+ notebooks and relied on being able to export everything at once using Evernote for Windows 6, to perform periodic offline backups.

As per @gazumped, I'm running the Legacy version and have no export problems

The current Version 10 restricts us to notebook export, or 50 limit note export
We expect this to be resolved in a future upgrade (no timeline)

Warning: Exporting by notebook is recommended to retain Notebook data
Warning: Exporting large .enex files can cause import errors

Thanks. I understand that

  • the Legacy version offers an export capability that can serve as a workaround until a more complete export capability is supported in Evernote 10
  • and that Evernote 10.x release announcements (like yesterday's announcement for 10.4) list "additional export options" under "Coming soon".

I posted this thread in this specific forum -- Product Feedback/Feature Requests -> Evernote for Windows Requests (Versions 10.0 and above) -- because I wasn't satisfied by either the non-specific "additional export options" description or the non-specific "Coming soon" timeline for Evernote 10.

Thanks, but most are how to do something unrelated, and the few directly appropriate ones require coding knowledge I do not have.

I'd suggest talking to the help desk of the notebook you're trying to export to...
