Philosofy 1
I use Evernote for both work and personal things. Is there a way to separate the two? For instance, I sell chemicals. If I'm sitting in front of a customer with my iPad, and search on"hydrochloric", I want the chemical to show up, but not my medication which contains the word hydrochloric. If I search for the word "rate", I don't want my mortgage info to come up. Is there a way I can do this without the much asked for sub notebooks? Link to comment
Level 5* Metrodon 2,188 Posted October 23, 2010 Level 5* Share Posted October 23, 2010 Have 2 notebooks (work & personal) - in your scenario search only the work notebook........http://droppingsteps.wordpress.com/2009 ... ch-syntax/ Link to comment
sterlingz 7
Thank you so much for linking to that blog post - there is some really invaluable information about search syntax there. A must clip to Evernote for everyone interested in making the most of searching. Evernote should include this in an "advanced" section of the documentation for the users, instead of only having it in the API documentation which most people aren't going to read (though, I clipped that too, because it looks like there is a lot of great info there as well). Philosofy 1
Any hints for the iPad? I could have two notebooks, but it would be a pain going back and forth between them. Link to comment
