Annoying Evernote relaunches constantly after quitting app, forced quits, logouts

OS Big Sur 11.0.1

I'm trying to get this Evernote to function correctly but it keeps relaunching to application login splash screen after I logout or quit application.

Please help.  This is annoying as the focus redirects to the Evernote application while working on any other application other than Evernote.

I've attempted to move the Evernote application to the trash, but because it relaunches at every opportunity it recognizes Evernote as still being an active application even after a force quit of the application!  Frustrating and annoying until a fix removes this major issue.

It was mentioned  in another thread that EN v10 might not be ready for BigSur.

The legacy version seems to work.
