Sync Issues in Updating Notes - Mac 11.0.1 and iOS 14.2

has anyone else experienced sync issues when updating notes on iOS and then having said updates never appear on the mac desktop version?

it happens frequently with voice notes and voice dictation notes - they simply don't show up in the desktop version of evernote and then when the desktop syncs again, they disappear from the iOS version as well.

it's really frustrating and has been happening consistently for about two weeks.
