Won't let me log into the new iphone 12

I have had Evernote for years.  I tried to log into my new iphone 12, and it says I have to upgrade my account to use the device or unsync an account.  I tried to unsync my old phone (it gave me names of the phones, and I clicked iphone 11), and it logged me out of the new one instead!  I did it again, clicked iphone 11 and not the current phone, and it logged me out again of the new one!  Now it says I'm not able to unsync anything for the month, and I can't log into my new phone!  Can anyone HELP?!  I need these notes for work today.  Thanks
