Cannot paste from Outlook and Slack on Mac

Anyone else have this issue. I am using Evernote dark mode and cannot copy and paste from either Outlook or Slack. I am having to paste first into Word and then onto Evernote. Its a huge pain in the arse.

 

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this life altering personal tragedy?

Report it to Support? (It'll take a while,  but I assume -and hope- you're being ironic)

@Chris Baldwin:  I remember there being an issue with what you're describing at some point, but I can't reproduce it right now; I'm copying text from Outlook in both light and dark modes but when I paste it into Evernote, it looks just fine. This is the version of Evernote I'm using: 

Evernote v 10.3.7 build 2018 public w/Editor: v111.0.14414
Service: v1.22.6
