[Feature Released in Version 10.5] Simplify Formatting and convert to plain text

I absolutely need to be able to simplify formatting (used to be shift-command-F) or convert to plain text for this application to be at all useful to me as a way to save web page information. Seriously, I will find another option if it's not restored soon. Thanks,

I agree this is absolutely essential. Some clipped pages are unreadable without it.

What happened to the simplify formatting feature?     This seems like a big downgrade for no reason.

I don't think Evernote does any user testing with their products.  Constantly deprecating popular features like this.  Super frustrating company.  Tab feature was another feature they deprecated.  To their credit they brought it back but it took an unbelievable 5+ years.
