Behavior when a tag is clicked

When I click on a tag which has subtags, EverNote automatically adds a filter for every subtag, and applies an "All" operator to the search. Of course, there are then no matches. This is not the behavior in iOS, where only a filter for the selected tag itself is added. Wasn't the idea that all platforms would act alike?

The behavior in EN 6.2 had been the following: In the hit list all notes appeared that contain the selected parent tag OR any of the nested child tags. For me, that was a practical function, but I could live with the behavior you are describing in iOS, as well. Only the current behavior of EN 10 is pure nonsense ...

Even that is an option:

Any sort of OR search is really difficult in V10. Anything is preferable to the current behaviour which makes absolutely no sense. Like you say I too would prefer the option as now: either individual tags or any of child tags as well

You're right, I forgot about that - it was individually configurable via the preferences. Hopefully it should be like this again soon in EN10!
