Check for local notebooks does not appear on EN for Mac

I have a Mac running OS X El Capitan, and I have recently update Evernote for Mac to version 10.0.10. I had a local notebook with many notes in it, and I have read in the following article https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005107-Convert-local-notebooks that local notebooks are no longer supported. 

I tried to follow the instructions in the article in order to retrieve my local notebooks and convert them to appear in the new Evernote app. However one of the steps is to select Check for Local Notebooks in the Help menu. In my case that option does not show up in the Help menu and I have not found that option anywhere. Can anyone help me with this. How do I recover my local notebook?
