Insert date not working with Mac date format - This broke in the 10.1.7 update!

I like to format my notes with the time in a format that will sort.

I use this format: 2020-10-28

The new default format is October 28, 2020

I used the System Preferences/Language & Region/Advanced/Dates and set the Long format to "2020-06-01"

Then use ⇧ ⌘ D to insert my date into the note or note title.

This worked  perfectly until this week when I foolishly updated.

I say foolishly since I use this function many times a day for my job.

+1 to restore this to what it was before! The format Derick uses is far superior for sorting purposes.

I use a script to generate date/time in my preferred format (yyyy-mm-dd-hh:mm)

My scripting tools are Applescript and Keyboard Maestro

Thanks. That's good to know, about Keyboard Maestro. But for now I think that I'll use Evernote Legacy.

I'm using the version shown in the screenshot and it's worked the whole time for me. Just tested it again and it's working fine. I'm running EN on the latest Big Sur developers beta as well.

Don't know about v 10.3.7, but it's not working in v 10.4.4.

I just downloaded the direct version of 10.4.4. and it's working fine. Are you running direct download or the App Store version?

Before the update, I used a similar date format (20-12-16) via keyboard shortcut as @Derick, multiple times per day, in Evernote.

I mostly use Evernote for Mac. Confirming this is not yet fixed in the update (and is highly frustrating!).

+1 completely broke my workflow and makes the insert date shortcut useless for me. Please put this feature back! Needs to be able to customize date/time format!
