eske 0 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Just curious I have a really basic question about attachments - When you add a word document from my docs (for example) to a note - does the .doc now live as a separate entity within evernote to the original - or if i change the original document in my docs does it update in evernote too?thanks eske
baumgarr 17 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 It is a separate copy in Everonte, but if you launch the application from within Evernote then changes are saved to Evernote's copy and are then synchronized. Changing or deleting the original does nothing to the copy that is in Evernote.
baumgarr 17 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I should add, that is how it works on Windows. I can't speak to other platforms.
