Annotating Notes issue

While annotating when I copy and paste I can no longer edit the length of the sentence.  Before you double click the text and a tab at the end would allow you to change the sentence length now it’s just a single line of text you have to manually hit the “return” button.   Any fixes or can someone help with this please!!
