Entering tags in 10.1.7 for Mac - is it me?

One now has to type in the full tag name and cannot select from the dropdown that gets created as you begin to type.  Am I doing something wrong?  As a paying user, who relies on tags, I hope I'm just doing something wrong.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi.  You can get these back by going 'legacy',  but they're -at least temporarily- unavailable in the new app.  We don't yet know what's coming back,  or in what timescale or order.  Sorry.

quit and restart the App may help. Typing a few letters and hitting return works fine for me.

Thank you for your response.  At some point, maybe after a few restarts it started working for me later in the day.  The app seemed to be slow... maybe it's reindexing after the update?  Today it's much snappier.

to be honest, I don't have performance issues on both, my Macbook Pro and iMac (both 2017 or so) - I do miss a lot of features - on the other hand, I'm using V10 for approx. 90% of the time during this week 🤭

Yes, this feature seems to be broken: only a subset of available tags show up.

If you use the tag keyboard shortcut (ctrl-opt-cmd-t) you get the full set of tags, and the list adjusts as you type more characters.
