Csterwerf 3 Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Does anyone know what -E 10.1. 7Tools -> preferences - >save data at log out is? I can't tell it speeds things up, slows things down or does anything for that matter. Thanks!
Evernote Expert Jon/t 1,991 Posted October 22, 2020 Evernote Expert Posted October 22, 2020 I think it's a privacy thing... If it's ticked and you log out your data is still stored locally on the computer for offline use when you log back in again. If it's unticked then it clears all the data and logs you out.... when you log back in it has to download it all again. That's my understand but I may be wrong.

As per @Jon/t I believe this is saving data for offline use I unchecked it, and my local storage for note code/metadata was reduced However, the local storage of attachments was not deleted
Spice 0 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I saw this here.https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/80502-can-i-disable-spell-check/ >In Windows you can go to Tools-Options-Language and un-check the Check spelling as you type box. But not in the new version, I want to know where this should be set.
