Another suggestion:

The application should have an option of adding a reminder attached to a specific note.

This could be implemented via integration with the Android calendar.

It will pop up an alert with the note's subject at the selected time.

Evernote has stated many times, they are not focusing on being a calendaring function. They are planning on adding due dates but reminders do not seem to be something they will be adding.

We'd love to see dedicated calendar software take advantage of notes and the dates on notes, but we're wary about trying to expand Evernote to become a full calendaring application.
