amer 19
I am behind a proxy. When I start v4, it syncs fine for about 5 minutes and then stops. After trying for about 1 minute an error message is displayed (see clip below). Syncing starts for another 5 minutes after a restart and stops again. The activity log just says: 08:49:18 [1176] 0% Can't send HTTP request, error: INTERNET_TIMEOUT 08:49:18 [1176] 0% Session terminated abnormally, elapsed time: 2m 0s 08:49:18 [1176] 0% * 1m 59s (100%) spent in EDAM RPC I am not sure if this is a bug or related to my network. Anybody else noticed this? Thanks Link to comment
Level 5 kvitekp 294 Posted October 13, 2010 Level 5 Share Posted October 13, 2010 What object it tries to sync before timing out? Is it the same or different?/Peter Link to comment
amer 19
It is the same object, actually nothing should have been synced, i.e. In this particular case nothing was changed or updated. For example, I start EN 4 and click the sync button. The sync completes successfully (say without actually syncing anything). After a few minutes I click the sync button and get an error message. Below are log lines for syncing several times within 5 minutes period, the last sync attempt failed and all previous ones completed successfully. amer 19
Just to report that selecting "Automatically detect settings" in LAN settings solves this. Link to comment
annapicur 0
Hello, I seem to have the same issue since yesterday, Evernote won't sync anymore. I'm behind an enterprise firewall (with administrator rights) but up till yesterday everything worked fine. I use Windows 7. I deleted any note popping up in the log file but it won't help. Here's an excerpt from the log file: 09:43:17 [5624] 0% Retrieving resource, total size=1381209:43:17 [5624] 0% * guid={36bceec1-c87b-4df4-8fc6-335d0088b056}09:43:17 [5624] 0% * note={4c60b60e-9a0f-42dc-a99f-c5250f921efc}09:43:17 [5624] 0% * resource data, size=914709:43:17 [5624] 0% * resource recognition data, size=466509:43:17 [5624] 0% Retrieving resource, total size=236509:43:17 [5624] 0% * guid={886a107d-84c6-4825-b08a-b0c8ee3e874d}09:43:17 [5624] 0% * note={4c60b60e-9a0f-42dc-a99f-c5250f921efc}09:43:17 [5624] 0% * resource data, size=200509:43:17 [5624] 0% * resource recognition data, size=36009:43:19 [5624] 25% Submitting batch of 4 note calls, size=5.9MB09:48:20 [5624] 25% Can't read from Internet, error: INTERNET_TIMEOUT09:54:47 [5020] Registered session count: 1, last session: 2014/07/16 09:45:0010:01:58 [5020] Registered session count: 2, last session: 2014/07/16 10:00:00 The sync button is constantly turning and no error message pops up. Any ideas? Thank you in advance. Anna Link to comment
