Offline Use of Windows Client 10.0.10

After a quick search of the forums, as well as a little testing on my end, it appears that the new windows client is not by default downloading the notes database locally, and I haven't noticed a means of forcing it to sync entirely to utilize the windows client offline.  Is this feature not available yet? Corollary, is it in the works for a future release?
