I expand note but black sidebar comes back & toolbar disappears when I try to edit notes

Sometimes when I press the expand note button directly to the left of the notebook name, the black sidebar comes right back up and I cannot expand the note. Additionally, sometimes the toolbar (with Normal text, Sans Serif, text font size, colors, bold, etc.) just disappears.

For weeks now I have also been unable to find the check box feature on the toolbar.

Same. Mine says "Last edited on..." where the toolbar usually is.

It will re-appear sometimes if I refresh the page, navigate away and return, or click around somewhat randomly.

Yeah, it has happened to me also. I’m using the Folio Keyboard on my IPad Pro 11 2018 with IPadOS 14.0.0.1 and it has happened to me that i try changing the color of text and the next thing that happens after i click the “x” to get out of Color personalisation is that there is no toolbar anymore. Need to say that this happens to me when i use split screen with other apps. It can be resolved by closing the app and opening the note again, or closing one of the apps in Split View, but there is no way to get the toolbar again once you’ve changed colour. It’s kinda annoying to be honest

Happening to me too for quite some time. I thought they fixed it at some point since it stopped for a day or so, but it's back.

Same issue here. It's infuriating. It seemed to be fixed and now the issue has come back again.

Hi, and welcome to the forums. This is the forum for the in-browser Web client. Sounds like you're using the new iOS version? There's a separate forum for that somewhere. But a related issue is also happening in the new Windows program:

So I'm not surprised it's happening in iOS. Now that the code base is unified all the bugs will appear everywhere simultaneously. Hurray!
