Lost data with spotty internet connection

I was working in a cafe today using my phone as a hotspot, which is never ideal. Twice while working I got a pop up saying something like "Your note couldn't be synced, please reload to continue working". The page then reloaded without my input and my most recent work was gone. I only lost a bit of typed text both times so could have been worse, but still, it was a bit worrying. Im guessing this is to do with the internet being a bit spotty, but still, data loss isnt great.
