how to annotate PDFs?

while annotating images works fine I can‘t see how to annotate PDFs. DimImmiss something?

When I click on edit within the note and then click on the pdf, the annotate icon appears.  But then when I click on the annotate icon, I get the message "unable to load this resource.  Please refresh the page or try again later".

ah, if I tap on the PDF there occurs a separate annotate icon above the soft keyboard - I was to fast, I already had opened th PDF and was missing the annotation button there...

Thanks for that, I was lost without pdf annotations !

But no zoom, no navigation tool in the pdf ??
