ootoaoo 0 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 So I just switched from having a massive folder of Notes (created in TextEdit) on my mac to using Evernote. I basically dragged them into evernote and they auto copied over which was great. My question, is there anyway to change the creation date of the notes w/in Evernote? I could do it manually, I just don't see a place to do it.Thanks!
BurgersNFries 2,407 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 What client are you using? In the Windows client, you can change the created date by clicking on it. I don't know if the Mac/Web clients offer that but I'd think they would.
SaraS 5 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Yes, you can do this in the Mac client as well. I'm guessing that's what you're using since you mention TextEdit. You just need to show the note info (View > Show Note Info or Shift+Cmd+I, or click the little arrow next to the note title). Then click in the Created date field and select a new date from the calendar. You can also type directly in the field.
