Notebooks disappeared

I wondered if I could drag one notebook onto another to create a stack, and both notebooks disappeared. Where did they go?

For me when I drag two notebooks together they go into a new top-level stack called "Notebook Stack" , you have to find it in your left-side list and rename it to what you want
