Evernote 40% off premium promotion

I'm tempted by the 40% off premium promotion that's offered to me when I go to the Evernote.com site. 

I'm wondering though - does it automatically go up to full price after 12 months?

And, if so, will I still be able to downgrade back to Evernote Plus when that happens?

I don’t know the details of this promotion.

Recent promotions could not be used with an existing EN account.

Furthermore PLUS is not available any longer. You can stay with it for the time being if you already have it, but if you upgrade there is no way back.

I found my answer in the small print.
