PDF Saved to Evernote lost all hyperlink

Here's a video after the issue. First I opened the pdf in the browser, clicked the hyperlinks and got directed to the right URL. Then I tried saving the pdf to Evernote in two ways:

- Using the Clip to Evernote extension

- Save the pdf to my local drive, then open the desktop Evernote and drag the file into it.

In both cases, I clicked the hyperlink in the pdf inside Evernote app, and nothing happened.

What did I do incorrectly?

Hi, and welcome to the forums. PDFs are added to Evernote as attachments, and as a result of the attaching process some functionality may be lost--at any rate, that's my understanding, which may be faulty.
