problem with Evernote interface in windows 10

My Evernote Interface always reverts back to the default settings including the sorting options no matter how I change it, it always reverts back once I restart the computer
this never happened to me on windows 7 but it did on windows 10 pro. How can I solve this problem?

Hi.  Try setting up Evernote as you prefer it,  then File > Exit the app and re-open it.  When you shut the computer down always File > Exit Evernote first to 'fix' any further changes.
