Stop showing media in the gallery?

I am using iPhone 7 running iOS 13. How can I stop showing whatsapp media in my gallery?

That may not be entirely possible. WhatsApp normally stores pictures and other media in iPhone Photos Storage.

In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Data and Storage Usage > Storage Usage. Media is grouped by WhatsApp contact or group ordered by total size. Choose one and then select Manage. Pick which ones to delete and select Clear. They will be removed from your Photos Storage.
