Extra copies of same pic or scrnsht in my folders

I currently use Evernote a VERY limited amount only to save pics from my Android cell to my Windows laptop, and i absolutely love it for that sole purpose because i control which folders they go into.

BUT, i keep getting extra copies of my pics or screenshots within those folders, the copies will have a number in (  ).

I'm pretty sure it is simply a minor thing that i am either doing wrong?, naming wrong? saving wrong? or????????

I simply want to sync them from my phone to my designated folders in my laptop, WITHOUT creating extra copies within

those folders, (AND preferably while also keeping some of those same pics on my phone, deleting them only if i choose)

I hope anyone can follow what I am asking and perhaps clue me of HOW to stop the extra copies!!:)
