adding digital signatures to documents in Scannable

I need to get my students to sign for the remote support sessions they have had. I propose to scan the record of contact using Scannable, send it to them, get them to add a signature and scan it back to me. However, that would require a printer for a physical signature and they may not have one. Is it possible to add a digital signature to a scanned document in Scannable?

Not really a Scannable question
It's possible to add a signature to  document   
It's an annotation thing   
The Evernote editor does annotation; I use the Notability app on my iPad
