I have an AMOLED display, and it would be so nice to see a truly dark theme where the very dark gray now is true black. In many other Android apps that have a dark theme, there's usually a switch to enable this.
For example, my screenshot shows what the Twitter app does. This can really help improve the contrast ratio for dark mode, thus improving legibility.
As a bonus, since you have both light and dark themes, I'd love to see an automatic switch as well.
