Cursor jumps several lines up when typing in a note

I love evernote but this is beyond annoying. I type for a little bit and my cursor just jumps to another part of the note as I continue to type. Please fix. I'm on a macbook pro (OS = Catalina) using the evernote app.

I've seen it too on Mac Book Pro Evernote version 7.14 (458244 Direct), OSX version 10.15.6 (Catalina).

This happens to me in my macbook in other apps as well. I have "Tap to Click" enabled and that makes that while you type you touch the trackpad by mistake and moves the cursor around. There is a app to fix that issue. Just search for "Tap to Click" in the app store and you will find it.

I've had this same issue with Evernote for years with my MacBook!  It drives me insane.  It is doing it right now and I can't even work in Evernote.  This is almost enough for me to use a different cloud service program.

Me too. Android phone.  Cursor jumps to the the top of the note when typing/editing. It seems to work okay when the phone is flat vs. held vertically.
