spaeder 0
The Capture Previous Snapshot Area function does not work when multiple display monitors are active (MacBook Pro and external Thunderbolt Display). The workaround is to close the MBP so that only the external display is active. The problem can be recreated by following these steps: Capture an area on external display. Use 'Capture Previous Snapshot Area' function. Result: Captures background on the wrong (MacBook Pro) screen. Expected result: Should capture area on external display. Workaround: Close MacBook so that only the external display is active. Should be able to keep both screens running and capture previous area on external screen. System: Skitch Version 2.8 (264391) MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013) macOS 10.15.5 (19F101) Running multi-monitor setup (MBP + Thunderbolt Display) Troubleshooting: Security & Privacy Settings - Screen Recording - Skitch is enabled. Uncheck Skitch, exit. Go back into Settings - Screen Recording and enable Skitch. This problem was first reported in June of 2015 on ticket # 1092367 - Previous Snapshot Area - MBP 13" and Thunderbolt Display. Is there any fix for this? Thank you. Jerry Spaeder Link to comment
