elvalin1559 0
I lost the notes after the machine reboot due to regular window update. It happened before but the changes were still saved. However the notes for about a week are gone this time. I checked my access history. For some reason, from records 6/3 to 6/9 are not recorded here. I wonder why it suddenly lost connection and did not reconnect. Anything with my network? But I'm connected all the time through my workstation. Or it logged out by itself and I'm not aware of it? If it logged itself I should not be able to update any more? Is there a way to still trace back the notes for this period time? But since it does not even log here, there is little chance it is still recorded? Level 5* gazumped 12,068 Posted June 14, 2020 Level 5* Share Posted June 14, 2020 Hi This is a -mainly- user-supported Forum. Although Evernote staffers do read the posts here, and there are Admins to keep everyone in line, there's no guarantee when that will be. If you need help on a technical issue, we can offer advice from our collective experience but Evernote support is available (for subscribers) via the website link, and (for everyone) on Twitter @EvernoteHelps or via their Facebook community. If you're using the installed Windows client, notes should be saved on your hard drive as well as synced to the internet. If you were not connected, your local database would have synced and saved any changes to the Server when you eventually were able to get online. Check Evernote > Tools > Options > General for the location of your database. Also have a look online by signing in to Evernote.com to see what is stored on the server. If the total number of notes shown is different, you may only need to sync your database to get them into line. If the total number is the same, and you still have no sign of your lost notes at either end, I'm afraid it looks like Evernote never saw those notes and would be unable to help you recover them.
