Search on Windows lacks relevant results

I recently have problems with the search on Windows. Certain notes I can't "find" in the windows version whilst on OSX and iOS and on the Web the same notes show up absolutely fine.

It would appear like a problem with the index on my windows device. Is there any way to reset the search index?

 

Or is there any other explanation why I can find certain notes on iOS and OSX but not in Windows?

There is an option to rebuild the index.  Hold down he Ctrl key while clicking on Help.  Then click on the Recreate Full Text Search index.  Do a backup before, just in case.  Or if you don't have any local notebooks, log out of EN, move your data base file (.exb) to the desktop or someplace and then sign back into EN.  This will rebuild your data base.  In either case, delete the backup when everything is okay.

Same issue for me, I have 3 PCs with windows client on them and one the search is totally broken. A full notebook of 100 notes, type the letter e and you'll get 2 notes come up, on other client you'll get 90! I'll try that rebuild when I'm next on that PC, but I thought I'd post anyway as it might be something systemic causing the issues.
