I've been using Eye-fi to upload photos to my Evernote (mac desktop version 1.11.0, mac os 10.5.8).

It has been working fine until recently, not quite sure but I think it stops working since the recent update.

I can see photos as thumb nails on the list view. When I click on it, the photo doesn't show up on the main section. I get picture name, tags and dates correctly. It works fine if I view the photos on web version of the Evernote, so it looks like Eye-fi is uploading successfully.

Anyone has the same problem?

Is this a know bug?

Thanks.

y.

I haven't heard of any such problems with Eye-Fi and the Mac. There may be more information under: Help > Activity Log...

You could try rebuilding your local Mac database in case there's a problem locally:

If you have some important Local Only or unsynced notes, be sure to read the directions at the end of this email to safeguard your information. Otherwise please try the following:

Please try moving your Evernote database directory so that Evernote will regenerate a new local database by copying your notes back down from the service. To do this:

Quit Evernote from the elephant icon in the menu bar.

In the finder, open the "Library" folder in your home directory. (This is in the directory with your name, NOT at the top level of your hard drive.)

Navigate to "Application Support"

Move the "Evernote" folder from that location to a different place (like the desktop)

Start Evernote, provide your username and password again if needed

This will synchronize all of your notes from the service and create a new local database.

*If you do have any Local Only notebooks, right-click the notebook name in the left-hand notebook pane and select "Export", then export the notebook to .enex format, exporting tags if desired. If you have some unsynchronized notes, you can go to the Note List view, sort by the "Sync" column, and export any notes that have a * in that column to .enex format before following the above instructions. Once those instructions are finished, you can then import the .enex files you created to restore these exported notes.

Hello, and thanks for a quick reply.

I'll try rebuilding database and let you know how I get on.

Thanks.

Hi. I tried rebuilding Evernote database, but I still have the same problem.

Photo doesn't show up on my iMac (OS 10.5.8 ) only, everything is fine on my laptop (OS 10.6.x).

That's very strange. Can you try one more test?

Select the most recent note and Export it (File > Export) to an ENML file on your Mac. Then import that back into Evernote as a new note. Does the imported note look correct?

If not, we'd like to take a look at that exported note. (I can contact you to get a copy.)

Thanks

Hello.

I've done two tests, one with eye-fi image, one with text only note created in Evernote.

Eye-fi photo still doesn't show up when imported back, i can see thumb nail. Text only note shows up fine.

Both notes looks fine when I view on my web browser(safari).

I can send you these two files. Can you tell me where I should send them to please?

Thanks
