Hunter1 0 Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 Alt + Shift + D is only inserting date and NOT time on the Windows version
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,252 Posted May 6, 2020 Level 5 Posted May 6, 2020 Hi, and welcome to the forums. Evernote uses the Windows "short date" and "short time" settings to get the information it prints using Alt +Shift+D. This setting can be configured in Windows Control Panel > Region. You could check the setting there. But it would be surprising (to me, anyway) if there were a setting there that eliminated the time altogether. If it can't be fixed through the Control Panel, next step would be to exit Evernote completely (File menu > Exit; or use Windows Task Manager; the red X box only closes the interface), then restart it. This sometimes fixes odd problems like this. If that doesn't work, you could reboot the computer.

Ctrl+; and Shift+Alt+D are two keyboard shortcuts to the same function, so I'd expect the same result. It is working for me too, so evidently it's a local issue of some kind. 1
Charles Bushby 0 Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I too have found that Shift+Alt+D only produces the long date and no time. Ctrl+; elicits no response.
dec4106 7 Posted May 26, 2021 Posted May 26, 2021 Short time is not inserted regardless of control panel settings. Also, why no insert time only as in Mac version? Also, why no date/time option under the Insert menu?
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,253 Posted May 27, 2021 Level 5 Posted May 27, 2021 All clients prior to version 10 are end of life - there will no changes be made, AFAIK even no bugfixes.
