Yes!

Subscript and superscript is essential to use Evernote in scientific world!

Implementation should be very, very easy! The only reason why it is not implemented (I think) is:

Programmers of Evernote are not scientists. The programmers do not know how important these format buttons are.

A little workaround:

generate a textfile (exchange "?" wtih "t", forum software generates an error if I use "html" in brackets):

Stress component S[sub]11[/sub] is positive

Open this file with your internet browser and copy / paste this text to Evernote. Evernote displays that subscript correctly. If you export this note to html, you can see, that Evernote assume the _{tag correctly.}

Evernote can handle _{und ^{but there are no buttons for it.}}
