webmanoffesto 5
I've been using Evernote (web interface) and occasionally syncing it to NixNote, I then backup Nixnote2 by "exporting database". Recently NixNote2 stopped sync'ing with Evernote. NixNote2 Message Log says Code: Error: INFO 2020-05-03 01:00:04.551 ( nixnote.cpp @ 1900 ) "Internal Error: Error downloading https://www.evernote.com/edam/user - server replied: OK" But that doesn't give me any helpful information. I uninstalled and reinstalled Nixnote2. I'm still getting the error message sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nixnote/nixnote2-stable -y sudo apt update sudo apt install nixnote2 -y I can see that Nixnote is an updated version, and Help/About says Version: 202003110020~2.1.5~ubuntu16.04.1 How can I resolve this sync problem? Then I got this, which includes some more details, but is repetitive. This could be a "corrupted database" but then what do I do about that? supermario72 0
I have the same problem, didn't change anything only updates. The last successful synchronisation was on 12.4.2020. Link to comment
mjotad 27
Hi, I have a similar workflow to you, and have recently had the same problem with Nixnote failing to sync. Each time I have managed to get around it by revoking authorisation for my account and then reauthorising Nixnote, after which it syncs without protest. Hope this helps Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 12,076 Posted May 4, 2020 Level 5* Share Posted May 4, 2020 I've seen a recent thread about this, but can't now find it... Nixnote say (I think) that Evernote changed their code slightly and they've had to catch up. Might be worth talking to their support team if you have any issues. Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,310 Posted May 4, 2020 Level 5* Share Posted May 4, 2020 Have never seen nor viewed Nixnote. Naming kind of reminds me of when Chevy tried to sell the Nova in Mexico. No va meaning not going in the local speak. Nixnote, no note? Never have understood marketing. A fully gratuitious not particularly beneficial off topic post, but I couldn't help myself with the irony of it all. Link to comment
supermario72 0
found this... could be the solution but i'm not very well with compiling my own nightly releases... https://github.com/baumgarr/nixnote2/issues/499#issuecomment-621659583 Link to comment
supermario72 0
tried this https://github.com/robert7/nixnote2/wiki/HowTo---Run-AppImage and it works!! ok, maybe to use an appimage is not the best solution but for the first i can access my notes from Linux again and one day in far future i'll be well in compiling sources on my own... Hugo84 0
If Evernote is displaying an error message when syncing, Paymydoctor try searching Evernote Help & Learning for the error message to see if there are any suggestions for resolving the problem. Link to comment

Evernote do not support Linux (yet) or Nixnote; though the help pages are useful for lots of other things... Link to comment
shamsmehra90 0
Hi, Something screwy for me so currently forcing a sync from the most recently changed by applying a tag to every note in the database to see if that work Link to comment
