Adding a note by email: notebook

An issue I always had: I often add a note using my personal evernote email address. For some reasons, unknown to me, these notes seem to decide which notebooks they belong to, and they do a very bad job at it.

Can we have the program put them in the default notebook?

Turn off the auto-file setting in your user settings

In my experience, they go into the default notebook when no notebook is named in the subject line of the email. And often even if a different notebook is named there. I've found that notebook names with spaces won't work; either omit the space or use a . instead of it.
