Why not in next Evernote Windows & other platforms user will be able to CTRL + Spacebar to simplify formatting as well as other keyboard shortcuts to remove formatting without clicking in the notes itself? Will users be able to do so in the note list. If it is a single note, then user can simplify formatting and go into note to CTRL + Z to undo. If user select multiple notes, then there will be a pop up message to ask user for authorisation before proceeding.
