Can’t log in on Mac

After years of using Evernote I get this msg every time I try to log in on my MacBook Pro, and it never actually logs me in

“This may take longer than usual the first time you log in.”

It works fine on my iPhone.

Anything usual before ( update, logging out etc.) ?

Does it log in through the web browser to the web client (does not count as a device, so you can try) ?

Hi.  Are you using the installed version of Evernote,  or going to Evernote.com in a browser?

Evernote.com on Firefox. I click on Login and get this. “Loading “ stays on the screen and various tips & quotes rotate below it, but it never logs in.

Have you tried another browser for this (like Safari) ?

Browsers develop these days in different directions. Problems can arise because one is handling stuff regarded as relevant for security / privacy different from another. Most browsers use Chrome as engine, whereas Firefox and Safari have their own engine each.

So switching browsers can show whether the problem is related to a specific browser.
