Highlighted text not working when "Color Inversion" is on

This started a couple months ago. Highlighted text in my notes used to be yellow (even when "Color Inversion" was on). Now, I don't see any color difference between regular text and highlighted text.

(Note, this only happens in "Color Inversion" mode. In regular color mode, there is no problem.) 

(...But, as I have very sensitive eyes and therefore am almost always in "Color Inversion" mode, it is a very big problem for me!)

I'm on a Galaxy S9+.
