BB Z10, can't add attachment, already editing a Note

Have been sharing attachments from Z10 without issue until I get message saying I'm already editing a Note, do I want to Create a new note or Share in current Note.  I've tried both, new Note doesn't create a new Note (at least not that I can find) and Share, well, I can't find where the Note that is already being edited is. I've in every option in the App on Z10, the Desktop and web. I know this is a legacy problem, I'm trying to share .vcf files to import to new iPhone.  Thanks.
