Surface Pro glitch with Evernote

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am using Evernote on a Surface Pro with windows 10, which works great with a mouse, but whenever I use the touchscreen rather than a mouse, either by finger or Surface Pro pen, I can't get the focus to move from the Note listing to the existing Notes. If I select a note in the list, it indicates focus with a blue border around the listing. But if I then use my Surface Pen to click on the note text on the right, say to edit it, the cursor appears there, but is unresponsive either to the Surface Pen or the screen keyboard, or the attached keyboard. The blue focus remains on the note listing, and does not lose focus and turn grey like it does with the click of a mouse. What is happening? I want to be able to use my Surface Pro without the mouse. Thanks for any help you can give.
