View notebooks in left panel

I cant seem to find anything about this, so maybe a link to a thread if this has already been discussed. I used to see my notebooks in the left column. Now I cannot. When I try to select "all notebooks" it automatically takes me to all notes. I would like to see my notebooks in the left panel without having to click a button to get a pop up menu with all my notebooks in it. Is this possible?

Hi, and welcome to the forums. Apologies if you've already tried this, but check the View menu to be sure Left Panel is still selected; or press F10 to toggle it on and off. If that doesn't work, try exiting Evernote completely using File > Exit (the red X box only closes the interface), and then restarting it; and then, if necessary, F10.

There is no "All Notebooks" control in the Evernote UI.There "All Notes" and there's "Notebooks".To see your notebooks, click on the little right-facing triangle to the left of "Notebooks", and a notebook list will drop down.

Edit: there *is* an "All Notebooks" entry in the dropdown above the note list, but all that does is show you all notes in the list, and doesn't affect the left panel:

It sounds as though the OP may have minimized the side bar... Try pressing F10 to toggle it if this is what you see:

Go up to view and choose "zoom out".   Then my notebooks all pulled up again and stayed on the screen.
