On my MacBook Pro EN is not among the 10 most energy consuming apps. It is app. #15, with a percentage of consumption below 1% (Catalina, EN 7.14 direct, Editor 69.3) . I am not using it very actively at the moment, it is mostly open and idle. The only relevant consumption is about 0,5 GB of RAM. So either you are actively using the app a lot, or there is something wrong with your installation. Link to comment
