Slow to open on Windows 10 desktop

When I open Evernote for the first time each day, It takes about 30 seconds to load. A box comes up on the screen similar to a new program loading for the first time. Is this normal? I am on WIndows 10, a Dell Inspiron, very new. During the same Windows session, it opens quickly.

Hi.  Are you getting the message 'gathering information about your system' at this stage? It sounds like your app is being repeatedly installed rather than just restarting.
