Google Drive icon missing

I have activated the integration of Evernote and Google Drive, picked the Google account that I need to integrate with, received the confirmation of permission from Google. Still the icon is not showing în the toolbar of the editor (web client). I am using Ubuntu 18.04, with KDE 5 on top. I tried this with Chrome and Firefox, but no luck. I looked in the forum and I found the same question asked more than 1 year ago with no answer from Evernote. What is happening? Integration with Google Drive is one of the reasons I paid for the product.

Please advise.

Not sure if I follow the explanation. I was talking about Evernote web and I didn't switched to any previous version. There is no app, just the pages that are served over the internet.

Meanwhile I got an aswer from Evernote support. The feature is available on web only on Safari and in a previous version...

Thanks Sorin - I had same issue. It says the integration is available on everything except IE and MF, but the icon isn't showing for me on Chrome! very frustrating.

i think the google drive icon is only on the old web version of Evernote. However the new version is progressing quickly, so it may turn up again soon.

Google Drive icon isn't in the old web version either (Chrome)

So frustrating this is probably only working on Safari.
